If you fancy yourself as a potential potter then our clay events are for you! You can make your own creation on our pottery wheel. It’s the perfect night out whether with friends or family! We find that a lot of bonding goes on over that pottery wheel! Take away all the screens and distractions and spend time making your clay pieces from scratch. You could each make and decorate your own mug for use at home - a lovely, practical memory of a fun day with family or friends.

The Clay Experience

You can book up to six people for an evening Clay Experience. You can come as a group or as a couple. We get a lot of people booking us for the perfect date night!
Each session lasts one-and-a-half hours to two hours.
You will have access to all our equipment and expertise.
You can bring refreshments and nibbles with you.
The pottery takes four weeks to be fired and glazed. You will receive a text when your pieces are ready to collect from our Canton studio. If you have not received a text within the above time period then please contact please contact PeggysPots*
You can choose which project your group/family would like to create from the projects below.

The Throwing Experience

The Throwing Experience is up to 15-20 minutes per person with a 15 minute tutorial for the group at the start. Each person can throw up to three small pots on the wheel per person.
You can book up to four people for an evening throwing session. This particular activity is much more suited to smaller family groups and especially date nights!
You can combine most of our other events, experiences and parties with the Throwing Experience as an enjoyable add-on. Please contact us for specific costs.

The costs

The Clay Experience costs £120 for up to four people and £25 per additional person up to a maximum of six people.
Prices for the Throwing Experience start from £25 per person and can be added on to a number of our other events.
